East-West Legacy Partners, Inc. (“EWLP,” “we,” or “us”) respects the privacy of visitors, supporters, and people who contact us. This policy explains the information associated with this website, correspondence sent through its contact details, and gifts arranged through the methods described here.

This site is informational. It does not offer account registration, student applications, newsletter signups, or online payment processing.

Information We Receive

• Information you provide. If you contact us, we receive the name, email address, message, and any other information you choose to include.
• Giving information. When you arrange a gift by check, donor-advised fund, wire, or another method, we may receive your contact details, the gift amount and date, and instructions needed to administer and acknowledge the gift. Your bank or fund provider may supply some of this information.
• Technical information. Hosting and security providers may receive your IP address, browser or device details, request time, referring page, and pages requested in order to deliver and protect the website.
• Privacy preferences. A first-party cookie stores your cookie choice as described below.

Please do not send card numbers, passwords, bank account credentials, or other sensitive financial information through ordinary email. The website does not request or collect card details.

How Information Is Used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, carry out your instructions, arrange and acknowledge gifts, maintain financial and administrative records, operate and protect the website, and meet applicable legal obligations. We use the information you provide in connection with the matter you bring to us.

When Information May Be Shared

Information may be available to people and service providers who help us with hosting, communications, gift administration, accounting, or professional advice, where needed for those purposes. It may also be disclosed where required by law, legal process, or a legitimate need to protect rights, prevent fraud, or maintain security.

This website does not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or publish a donor directory. If you prefer that a gift not receive public recognition, please tell us when arranging it. Financial records may still need to identify the donor where required for administration or by law.

Cookies and Privacy Choices

Necessary preference cookie. A first-party cookie remembers your choice for up to 180 days. On HTTPS pages, it is named __Host-ewlp-consent-v2 and uses Secure and SameSite protections. It is not an advertising identifier.

No optional tracking. No analytics tags, advertising pixels, or social-media tracking widgets are installed in this site. Accept and Essential only therefore both leave optional tracking off. If optional tools are introduced, we will explain them and request a fresh choice before enabling them.

Browser controls. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are treated as an essential-only preference. You can reopen the controls using Cookies in the footer, or block or remove cookies through your browser. If the preference cookie is blocked or removed, the notice may appear again.

Fonts and illustrations are hosted with the site rather than loaded from an external font service. Hosting providers may use necessary technical or security storage to deliver and protect their services.

Online card payments are not currently available, and no payment processor is loaded by this website. Gifts are arranged outside the site. Your bank, donor-advised fund provider, email service, or another service you choose has its own privacy practices; please review its notice before providing information.

Links to other websites do not place those websites under our control. This policy does not govern information you provide directly to them.

Retention and Security

Information is retained as needed for the purposes described here and applicable legal, tax, accounting, or recordkeeping obligations. A request to delete information may not require deletion of records we must keep.

The public website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us if you believe information you have provided has been handled improperly.

Your Requests and Communication Choices

You may contact us to ask about information you have provided, request access, correction, or deletion, or tell us not to send optional communications. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Available rights, response requirements, and exceptions depend on applicable law and the records involved.

Choosing not to receive optional communications does not prevent necessary responses concerning a gift, an inquiry, or a legal obligation.

Children’s Privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13 and does not invite them to submit personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and address it.
